I realized I never posted this. It was my contribution to the Viggorli Fanzine, Just Words.

Title: Real
Pairing: Viggo Mortensen/Orlando Bloom
Summary: Orlando is a really, really good actor.
Rating: PG-13 for language
Warnings: None
Word Count: 7491
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction.
A/N: Thanks to JPP for the beta job and encouragement from halfway 'round the world. (I'm sorry I left, because it wouldn't have been, otherwise.)

TURGID BIBLESLASH! Featuring emo!Jonathan.

Title: By the Light of Your Eyes
Pairing: David/Jonathan (Bible RPS omfg)
Rating: Adult
Warnings: haha, it's bibleslash.
A/N: Unbeta'd. and awkward. just AWKWARD. Timeline: This is set before the shit really hit the fan, when Problems were just beginning to make themselves known. Also I would say this is more scenes-from-the-life-y rather than a story all on its own. Apologies for anachronisms and general blasphemy. I have no idea how God was used in casual conversation back then D:

This is for [info]japanpeterpan. I only wish I could do her OTP justice!

this is a product of insomnia; i make all the requisite excuses.

John Laurens/Alexander Hamilton. Fiction. R - language and euphemistic sex. lazy attempt at dialogue-only fic. i'll fix the lack of capitalisation soon. warning: some anachronistic phrasing/syntax, tho' i did look up the etymology of some of the words and they're all well within range. except for the whole mollusk thing, which was very recent and perhaps not in the vernacular. but it was derived from the french (mollusque, 1763), and both hamilton & laurens were fluent, so let's just pretend, shall we?

feedback is always appreciated!

Title: By Action Rather Than Words
Pairing: John Laurens/Alexander Hamilton
Rating: Hard R?
Disclaimer: This is fiction. That should be painfully obvious.
Warnings: Hints of misogyny? I apologize in advance for any errors; historical accuracy was not my intention with this fic, it is, rather, merely a fictional exploration of a very ambiguous relationship. And I would have researched the period detail better, but I was in a tearing hurry to get this up on time. I'll make corrections as necessary. (omg i was embarrassed to write "officer's mess" and "tent" every time, since i have no clue as to whether that is how things were, and could not find answers with perfunctory google searches.)
A/N: Happy Birthday [info]japanpeterpan! This is all for you, however dubious an honour that may be. Thanks to the two French girls who have been sleeping on my floor this week for their help with the poem, & Lafayette ;) Oh, and the title is obviously stolen from Hamilton's (in)famous letter to Laurens, though this fic disregards many of the sentiments contained therein: "Cold in my professions, warm in my friendships, I wish, my Dear Laurens, it might be in my power, by action rather than words to convince you that I love you."

feedback is always appreciated!

this is viggo/orlando, eventually, but reads more like badly researched historical fiction than my other RPS, i suppose. AU set in ancient rome, starting with little orlando (i opted not to call him "orlandus," hehe). anyway, i posted this first about a year and a half ago and have now written more of it, let's see how long i last this time.

i don't know warnings or rating or anything, all i know is i'd never kill orlando or viggo off, so. if anyone cares to read, i present, as yet untitled:

Title: The Faith that I Had
Author: [info]pseudonihilist
Pairing: Viggo Mortensen/Orlando Bloom
Rating: NC-17
Beta: [info]cynical_terror, whom I want to marry in canada ;)
Summary: Orlando hates current events. Viggo decides to defy some of his own conventions.
Disclaimer: None of this is true. I make no claims regarding the lives or preferences of these two men.
A/N: Written for [info]thingsunseen, whose request for the Lotrips Wedding Slashathon was my assignment, including "tenderness; laughter; candlelight." I hope you like it! I chose Victoria because I really love it up there, and I thought I would set the event in Canada, because they seem to be at the forefront of the gay marriage thing. Am aware of the current debate going on there, and projecting my own outcome, so apologies if it turns out to be inaccurate. Thanks to Jassy for some advice and Jen for suggesting the inclusion of Viggo's poem Trague, and sorry about the bird thing, it's cheesy but I saw it done once and I really liked it :/

Title: Late, Wait. (hehe, double meaning!)
Author: pseud
Pairing: Viggo Mortensen/Orlando Bloom, EB/OB implied but not really
Rating: PG
Summary: Orlando is late coming home. Viggo has to deal with himself and the pics coming in from Malta and Cannes.
Disclaimer: This is all Total Falsehood.
Warnings: VIGGO IS SO OOC OMFG.
A/N: THIS IS WRITTEN FOR [info]sidhe_elf's birthday!! it was a plot that we came up with together but she didn't have time to write it and so generously donated it to me long ago. Having remembered its existence earlier this afternoon, I have come up with this rather unexpected (not to be confused with unpredictable)...thing. honestly, didn't turn out quite the way we intended it, Sidhe, but, you know. i did my poor best :/ this is set directly after Cannes. Dated material, as it were. sorry eep. also i've committed CHARACTER ASSASINATION on sebastian copeland. actually, all the characters, but i feel worst about him, esp. as i have no idea what he's like at all.

Orlando was late. )

Title: Legend (2/2)
Author: [info]pseudonihilist
Fandom: Alexander the Great
Pairing: Alexander/Hephaistion
Rating: R? maybe
Summary: Near the end of the summer at Ekbatana, Alexander and Hephaistion attempt to close the rift that has opened between them. Follows Alone, aka the bitchslap!fic, so might help to read that first.
Beta: [info]semyaza. Thank you so much for your support all along <3
A/N: Based on Mary Renualt’s fictional account of Alexander's life as told in her novel, The Persian Boy. I think I love Bagoas because he knows that everything he cannot say is being said by Hephaistion, but he still doesn't hate him. Hopefully you all won't hate me for putting what Bagoas wants to say to Alexander in Hephaistion's mouth. As sad as it is for our poor eunuch, I'm afraid that's probably how it really went down. At least, when I read Renault. and a big thank you to [info]capella_fic, as always, without whom i would never have come to know Renault, or Hephaistion. IN CONCLUSION this is all for [info]pink_pants ;)
Warnings: Due to some protest last go around, I have to warn you that Hephaistion CRIES in this fic. okay?
Disclaimer: The Persian Boy belongs to Mary Renault, and Alexander and Hephaistion AND THE CONVENIENT PATCH OF GRASS belong to themselves. This is fiction.

For Hephaistion, it had been the longest summer of his life. )

Title: Alone (1/2)
Author: [info]pseudonihilist
Fandom: Alexander the Great
Pairing: Alexander/Hephaistion, Alexander/Bagoas implied
Rating: PG
Summary: After Alexander forces Hephaistion to renounce his quarrel with Eumenes on pain of death, they meet in Hephaistion’s tent to discuss things.
A/N: Based on Mary Renault’s account of events in her excellent novel, The Persian Boy, from which the quote at the beginning is taken. Part 1 of the bitchslap!fic. Bunny provided by [info]pink_pants, for whom this fic is written. I sincerely hope that it isn’t awful, I honestly can’t tell :( Oh, and I chose Pella because that’s where Hephaistion was born, right? Gah. I need to go read The Nature of Alexander again.
Disclaimer: Text of TPB belongs to Mary Renault, and Alexander and Hephaistion belong to themselves. This is fiction, and I sincerely apologise for any inaccuracies, anachronisms, or just plain bad writing contained herein. This didn’t come out at all the way I intended it to.
Feedback: Would be fanatically appreciated.

Subject:Ahaha Le Abdollen!!!
Security:Public

So, two wonderful zipped folders from [info]jenlynn820 and $20 for the full version of Intervideo WinDVD 4 later, I have my Le Abdollen Frame-By-Frame Close Analysis ©. I discovered, in comparing my full screen theatrical TTT DVD with my widescreen extended edition TTT DVD, that the Full Screen version actually has more on the top and bottom of the frame, revealing a tiny slashy detail that you cannot see in the Extended Edition! I mean, i've watched the theatrical version in slow motion a gazillion times, so when I looked at the caps and watched the EE version earlier today i was looking for The Detail, but when i didn't see it i was like WTF?? And since I knew I HAD to cap that, I just spent $20 FOR LEGOLAS AND ARAGORN IN A LIVEJOURNAL ENTRY.

As if it weren't pathetic enough that I'm doing this in the first place. I mean, frame by frame? There's a reason film studies students can never find jobs. After having to acquire "skills" like this, who has time to learn anything actually useful?

Anyway, here it is. I literally have almost 50 caps under the cut, so ye be warned. 47 from Jen, three and a diagram from me and my new software (w00t). Thank you for the caps, jen :)

I obviously have no life outside of fandom, but we've established that fandom QUALIFIES as 'a life,' right? )

AHAHA. When you're all done laughing at me, I will be over in the corner with my new DVD program capping and analysing the strange and wonderful intercutting during the final battle scene in ROTK, when Legolas is revealed to be the person who CARES MOST ABOUT AND MATTERS MOST TO ARAGORN IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Or maybe THE CORONATION SCENE. Or maybe THE PALANTIR SCENE. Or maybe THE PATHS OF THE DEAD. Or...*voice goes on and on*

hee. Aragorn/Legolas OTP 4 ever. obviously. :)

[ETA]: Having read over the first few paragraphs after posting it has come to my attention that I have a very repetitive sentence structure and vocabulary in this entry (or indeed, in my entries in general, but this one in particular). I'm too lazy to fix anything right now, since it's like, omg eep LOOK AT THE TIME. *falls asleep in front of computer, Neo-style* Maybe i'll try to improve it later.

Subject:Doom of Men part 1

So, it turns out this pairing is more popular than I had supposed when I first started writing it! If anyone knows of any other Elrond/Arwen fics not posted here let me know, I'd really like to read them and if anyone wants to advertise to people that this community exists or that we are cool people than please GO AHEAD omg.

And wow, I can't believe I wrote this. Basically I gave it no thought, I just got this idea, and I tried to write it down as quickly as possible. So forgive any and all mistakes or horrors (besides the incest thang, that was on purpose) - i'm sure there are many.

Title: Doom of Men - 1/?
Author: [info]pseudonihilist
Rating: NC-17 I think, anyway, there's Explicit Stuff in this chapter (OMG)
Pairing: Elrond/Arwen, also (mildly) Aragorn/Arwen and Aragorn/Legolas (couldn't keep my OTP out)
WARNINGS: INCEST, some movie-verse stuff, this chapter - er, self-pleasure.
Summary: Arwen tells the story of her grief.
Disclaimer: These characters do not belong to me. I am ashamed of defiling them, but it couldn't be helped.
Feedback: Would be fanatically appreciated.

Subject:A/H fic: Deeper Still
Security:Public

Trying out a new default icon. Dunno if I like it yet, but Velma seems quite appropriately sullen in this one.

Title: Dearer Still
Fandom: Alexander the Great
Rating: R-ish
Summary: This is my take on why Hephaistion "tops" Alexander.
A/N: Okay. *sigh* I tried, I really did, to a)write decent smut, and b)to at least try to stay a bit in Renault-verse. Neither happened. I cannot offend Renault's memory by attaching her name to it, as this Alexander and Hephaistion are entirely the unfortunate instruments of my poor abilities on both counts; I have not made even any pretense, this time 'round, of trying to fit into her masterworks. So why am i even posting it? Because I wrote it, and it's one of the few things I have written that actually has an ending. Have been trying to write A/H smut forever, but it just won't happen. I'm starting to think this has less to do with them than with me.
Disclaimer: Complete and utter fiction. Argh. That is definitely a good thing, in this case.
Feedback: Would be fanatically appreciated

Also: I did some research on Alexander's eye colour and apparently they were either grey or were two different colours (heterochromias?). Since more sources seem to say grey, including, if I'm not mistaken, Renault, I went with that. *shrug* i suppose it doesn't matter, really.

And final disclaimer, as the header reaches a higher word count than the actual fic: This is just my personal theory, about the top/bottom thing. Doesn't mean i don't think they're versatile, or whatever, I just decided to write them this way this time. Perfectly understand if people disagree or...whatever. eep.

Not for Alexander the soft, weakened, vulnerable expression of deep repose... )

Subject:A/H fic: The Dark

I wrote this in place of my essay. It was going to be a drabble, cos I have several other ideas for true fics, but then this got way longer than 100 words because I like PROCRASTINATING. So, wedding!fic, virgin!fic, and bitchslap!fic are coming up when I am actually purposefully trying to write this stuff.

Title: The Dark
Fandom: Alexander the Great
Pairing: Alexander/Hephaistion, Alexander/Bagoas implied
Rating: PG-13, as usual
Summary: At Zadrakarta, Hephaistion is still battling his insecurities.
A/N: Based on Mary Renault's account of their relationship in The Persian Boy. Set during the days Bagoas is practicing for his dance at the Games.
Disclaimer: The Persian Boy and all therein belong to Mary Renault; Alexander and Hephaistion belong to the great annals of history. I claim nothing. This is fiction.
Feedback: Would be fanatically appreciated.

Okay, I probably corrupted the pairing here. There is some really glaring OOC-ness happening, but I couldn't help it, I really couldn't. It just sorta wrote itself, and Hephaistion got a little nasty, Alexander a little soft. I sincerely apologise but I sorta like 'em that way. :/

Subject:A/H fic: The First Night
Security:Public

This is rather drabble-ish except it's too long (308 words). I'm just dying for some AtG action but there doesn't seem to be much, so I had to write it myself. The thing is, there's that quote we all know ("Alexander was only defeated once, and that was by Hephaistion's thighs") but, despite this, I can't really picture it. So we have a PG-13 or very, very soft R fic where nothing really happens, and I try to be subtle but end up being stilted. Enough with the dumb disclaimers. This probably only makes sense if you've read The Persian Boy; sort of a "missing scene" type of thing.

Title: The First Night (sorry - crappeh title)
Fandom: Alexander the Great
Pairing: Alexander/Hephaistion, Alexander/Bagoas implied (pre-slash)
Rating: PG-13
Summary: The night of Bagoas' arrival, Hephaistion and Alexander discuss Bagoas after he is dismissed from the King's tent.
A/N: I took the first quote directly from Mary Renault's The Persian Boy, after Alexander says he should learn Persian to prevent further misunderstandings. So I suppose I should add a
